"The Time Traveler's Wife” to be released on 14th August

Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams star in the new romantic drama, "The Time Traveler's Wife." The film is based on Audrey Niffenegger's best-selling book about a love affair that transcends time. Bana plays Henry DeTemble, a man cursed with a genetic disorder that makes him travel through time. Henry has no control over the disorder and is forced to shift through various moments in time, without any warning. Rachel McAdams portrays Clare, a young woman who has been in love with Henry since he visited her while she was a little girl. She knows that Henry is a time traveler, but Clare believes they are soul mates, destined to be together. Henry's time travel forces the two apart and strains their relationship as Clare never knows when Henry will return. Starring in an adaptation that so many people have read put pressure on the leading man. Bana says he worked hard to make Henry his own. Both actors appreciated the extra time to connect before getting on-set and the result McAdams says is a film whose message she believes is universal. "The Time Traveler's Wife" opens in North American theaters on August 14th.
